Robin Garvin
Robin Garvin believes in the local church and its call to show the world what Jesus looks like and how Jesus really loves the kids. Robin leads SoCal Kids the “All Things Kids” department of the Southern California Assemblies of God. Robin has served as a children’s pastor with three SoCal churches and has ministered at SoCal Kids Camps for over 20 years. Her teams lead Girls Ministries, KidMin, Junior Bible Quiz and Royal Rangers. Robin and her husband Glenn enjoy their fill of tacos in Santa Ana, California.
God invites us to do BIG things. He calls us to “God things”—things we could never accomplish without Him. Faith is great, but faith without real-life service is motionless, fruitless, and lifeless. If we are to fan the faith-flame in the lives of children and leaders—the kind of faith that answers the “so what?” question—we must engage kids and leaders in face-to-face acts of compassion.
