Chaplain (Colonel) Chester “Chet” Egert is a third generation career service member who spent 31 years on active duty in the Army and served on multiple tours in Iraq, Somalia, and Haiti. He and his wife raised two daughters in the military, one of whom is married to a service member. They have four grandsons.
