Pastor Charity Silvis has served in Kids & Family ministry across the midwest since 1998. She is passionate about reaching kids and partnering with parents to build healthy families. Charity is committed to the stability of the God-centered family model and it’s capacity to teach the next generation how to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Pastor Charity currently works in Sioux City, IA with Morningside Assembly of God Church. She has also partnered with kids ministry leaders across her local region to pioneer the Siouxland Kids Network. Siouxland Kids Network seeks to build bridges across denominations, create collaboration opportunities, and partner with churches in the community through various family outreaches. We’re dreaming BIG, praying BIG, and God is doing BIG things in the Siouxland!
Fall is coming and I’m already getting excited! From the turning leaves, the return of football, crisp air, homemade applesauce, and pumpkin spice ev-ry-thing… It’s my absolute favorite time of year. At Morningside Assembly we invite the community for a party on our church campus. It’s scheduled the Wednesday before Halloween, and we call it “Big Orange Party” (aka B.O.P.)
