Alycia Horn

Alycia Horn is the Children’s Ministries Discipleship Strategist for the Healthy Church Network. She is formerly an elementary and middle/high school educator who had the opportunity of working in both Christian and public school settings. She was distinguished as Southern Indiana’s outstanding educator when receiving the Teacher of the Year Award and was given the WHAS ExCel Award in Louisville, Kentucky for her innovation and enthusiastic teaching methodology.
With her master’s degree in education from Indiana University, she sat on several local and university improvement curriculum committees. With this experience in curriculum, Alycia helps develop Kidmin training resources to support leaders as well as assists in the creation of quality, Spirit-Empowered resources that resonant with kids today.
She’s worked in youth and children’s ministry for many years and counts it a privilege to work closely enough with kids to see them fall in love with Jesus. One of her greatest passions is mentoring young girls and holding Bible studies in her home. Alycia and her talented husband Ryan reside in Springfield, Missouri.
