As adults, there’s a lot we can learn from how bold and zealous kids can be when it comes to telling others about Jesus. As kids’ ministry leaders, we should do everything we can to intentionally harness that energy into helping them learn how to effectively share the gospel with their family and friends.

Camp is often one of the highlights for every children's ministry, but how do we make the most of the growth that happens at camp?

As kids are exposed to the Holy Spirit, and as they ask questions and hear the answers, they will begin to want to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

You can host a Called Kids Takeover on any day of the year, but we thought it would be pretty cool if there was one Sunday when children across the nation were engaged in doing ministry in the local church in ways they hadn’t done before.

Teaching kids can be really hard! That is exactly why I was relieved when God showed me that the Holy Spirit is the Teacher! No matter how great our illustrations or object lessons, I’ve learned that the most we can do is to convince a child’s mind of something. However, the Holy Spirit is a much more convincing teacher. He can take head knowledge and use it to transform a child’s heart and life. When He speaks, He is hard to resist!

This summer many of us will attend or lead a summer camp. We must ask God to build our camps. We need to pray for God’s favor over the campers and leaders who attend our camps. This is why I’m asking pastors, leaders, and parents to rally their churches together and pray during the summer months for youth and kids’ camps all around the nation.
